has anyone heard of the "holdster"?
http://artofthehide.com/

this thing looks like an AOW but the person who makes them claims that they're not according to the ATF. he doesn't have a copy of that letter up on the website either. i'd love to have one of those holsters, but i don't think i'd carry one without a copy of that ATF letter stating its not an AOW (just to be on the safe side).

that holster is so cool i'm contemplating getting a keltec 32acp to go with it.

That looks to be a must have to go with my Kel Tec P32. But I too wonder about its status as an AOW.

The front part of the holster might qualify as a vertical forward grip, thus making an AOW. There is no fudge factor with NFA. I would stay away from it if the seller isn't willing to prove that he recieved a clearance letter.

The slide of the pistol is completely exposed and it looks like a gun. The holster you show should be perfectly legal.

The ATFE declared the shoot through type holsters to be AOW's.
This holster here is an example of an AOW:

One of my co-workers uses this holster with his Kel-Tec P3AT. It is legal, and is sold by U.S. Guns in Kansas City, which is a stickler for being legal and safe. He likes the fact that the holster conceals the profile of the pistol for pocket carry. I have tried it and found the following:
1) It is just a tad too bulky for my taste. 2) For quick access, it still takes time--put is far better then what I tend to use, which is ankle carry. Practice may be the key to this contention 3) I could not find a place to put my money or credit cards, making the item worthless as a wallet.

All in all, it seems to be a viable option. BTW, just kidding on 3 above.
