It took me a few times to re-position my grip so the mag wouldn't drop out. It's in an inconvenient spot for me.

Also, if you take the mag release spring out, please be sure to reserve an afternoon to re-install! Laughing

It's in an odd spot for two reasons:
1) I like to hit it under recoil.

B) I have to adjust my grip to drop the magazine deliberately.

3) Wink The mag spring should be a blast Shocked

Update: Threw some tape on the grip to preserve the magazine button cutout. Added some JB Weld to that area so my thumb doesn't hit the button, also dremeled the mag button so it has a better hold on the magazine. Shoved the grip into the oven to cure the magazine (bad idea). Opened up the holes for the grip screws as the grips shrank some with a slightly smaller drill bit in my dremel tool (bent, also bad idea) but it went together. It is a little harder to click the button from safe to fire (or unloaded to loaded) although it is easier for empty magazines to hold the slide back. I need more ammunition but I think the bumping of the mag button should be over.

If a Bryco 58 functions as a repeating firearm then that is better than new performance!! Embarassed

I fired another 50 rounds through it and only had two that fed very slowly and it came through with just a slight chip off the back of the right tab that engages the slide.
I didn't have to solder anything as I figured something out: The brass donut around the pin is concentric and can move how the safety engages the sear and by turning it made the safety move closer to the sear and closed the gap Smile
