I have a gently used, recent production one on layaway right now. I take it yours is new? _________________ If man could be crossed with the cat, it would improve man but deteriorate the cat. -Mark Twain |

Congratulations on your new Ruger...the reviews are pretty good on this pistol. Definately out of the "SNS" catagory, but we'll still let you post a range report _________________ The JA22 saga ended at 14,068 rounds on 11/19/09 RIP

| Yes it is new. Picked it up this afternoon. Gallery of Guns is having a sale on them. $284. Total for me was $320 with the additional fees. Will give range report as soon as I can get out and shoot with it. |

Damn I wish I had thought of getting one of those earlier. I have a CZ 75 B on the way now. If I had got one of those I could have saved a ton of money. _________________ "You have nothing if you have no rights" http://www.a-human-right.com/ |

You won't regret your CZ, they are really nice guns. _________________ If man could be crossed with the cat, it would improve man but deteriorate the cat. -Mark Twain |

the cz75 is a nice gun. the only thing i've had a little trouble with is only being able to grip the slide using my forefinger and thumb. there isn't much there to grab from. no forward serrations either because of the design of the gun. if it had foreward serrations, you'd be able to pull the slide back halfway, then get your fingertips impaled on the foreward most part of the frame, which is rather sharp.
the cz75 feels much better than the P95, but the P95 is a bit cheaper. the P95 feels a bit wobbly to me, but i really like how big and blocky the slide is. its just a big gun that shoots good and is easy to clean. the CZ75 has a complicated hammer/trigger assemby that's all open once you pull the slide off the frame. the CZ75 is a better trigger in my opinion, but its harder to clean than the P series.
you'll be happy with your guns _________________
