Nice looking revolver! I think you did decently on the deal. If I remember correctly, the RG 38 special is a steel framed gun and likely much better than the cheap RG10's and RG14's that give them such a bad reputation. The surplus Taurus 82's will run slightly more than you paid, and likely won't look nearly as nice.

The average for this model goes between $150-$200. Given the condition, I'd say you did fine.

I agree, I think you got a pretty good deal. I actually was looking at that revolver at one point, but then reminded myself that I already have a few Smith, Ruger and Colt revolvers in .38 special.

You did just fine on the deal. Now get out and shoot it and give us a range report.

I believe you got a pretty decent deal, its a good looking gun. Like LCP, I had looked at that revolver as well. But I have a HS 38 (Helmut Schmidt .38 special) already, so I took a pass. Get yourself some .38 special ammo (not +P) and have fun!

Thanks for the uplift guys I did really want it. Seemed to be priced right until the last minute bidders threw in

. I was initialy looking at the Armscor 200 which could've been had for 189 shipped. See link below why is this out of stock everywhere are they still in production?

Not sure of the Comanche, imported by Eagle Imports (Bersa) but the Armscor version is still in production.
