I didn't make the connection at first, but that thing looks like a crude Ruger Service Six copy. It has those same beautiful lines. _________________ If man could be crossed with the cat, it would improve man but deteriorate the cat. -Mark Twain |

It came in and I... already shot the ammunition that I bought for the occasion I guess I'll just have to shoot it later It has an Ulm proof on it for 1967 and Nitro proofs on the frame, barrel, and cylinder S/N 42***
I put some empty brass in it and was able to pull the trigger on it without feeling nervous about it. D/A has a slight stack at the end of the pull and S/A has almost no travel until you put enough pressure on the trigger to make it move. I'll see if I get any pierced primers out of it before I do a clip and stretch. It's impressively heavy, and I think it's just a slight hair larger than a K frame, but it fits into the S&W Holster I have for a Model 10.
I will have a range report soon. |

Interesting contrast to the Jennings Nine! You are developing a great collection. I look forward to the range report on this one. _________________ The JA22 saga ended at 14,068 rounds on 11/19/09 RIP
