| Do any of you know if leaving the mags loaded will damage the spring? |

| No problem leaving magazines loaded. It's the constant loading and unloading that wears a spring down over time. |

Yes, spring wear occurs with cycles vs. a static situation. But I have found (especially with Raven mags) that a light corrosive surface develops on them over time and the mag follower can catch.
So unloading every once in a while, thereby rubbing the inside mag surface with the follower, might prevent this corrosive layer from becoming thick enough to impede movement. _________________ Maine. Where the Moose is King of the Road (by default). |
